Andrew knows buildings. He knows their angles, their contours, their lines, and edges, he knows their foundations and cornerstones and how the light falls on every detail. Andrews’ love of buildings is limitless.
For several years he lived and worked in America’s architectural capital. There he was introduced to the Hedrich Blessing style of architectural photography and continues to explore the possibilities open to this style. He loves to reduce images to the bare essentials, to distill a space to it’s essence.
From the very first glimpse through the camera's lens, Andrew has been framing and assembling the seen around him. From seeing the delicate abstract designs in sandstone to the simplyfing of confusing spaces, his imaginative deconstructions allow the structures to speak for themselves.
When Andrew is not pointing his camera at, or shooting buildings — a hard task because he always shoots the things he loves — then you might find him dodging brown snakes on the dirt trails of Sydney on his mountain bike or indulging in his other passion, high fidelity audio.
Andrew loves meeting a challenge and providing his clients with well-constructed results. Let him show you how straight your lines can be.
